Welcome to Wolf Junction

The Wolfe Family welcomes you to Wolf Junction Farm

We are Lawrence & Becky Wolfe, and our two teenage boys, Ethan & Evan!
We moved to this gem of a property in Crooked Creek beside Swan Lake in 2021 and we have been expanding our dreams ever since.  We can't wait to invite you here to share them with us.
We brought chickens with us when we moved and expanded to sheep and a big homesteader garden in our first Spring. Each year has brought expansions and oh-so-much learning.

In 2024 we expanded our kitchen garden to a large market garden and 3 acre haskap orchard.
We love growing things like carrots, beans, potatoes, peas, beets, lettuces and pumpkins. We've sold lots of our produce locally and at the Valleyview Saturday Farmers Markets.  Last year we also expanded to include LOTS of flowers, especially sunflowers!! Selling bouquets made of our home grown flowers PLUS a mix of wildflowers & wild plants was a huge hit. And we hosted our first sunflower & wildflower bouquet workshops last fall as well as a medicinal forest walk to teach about the medicinal properties of our local plants. We plan on including many more of these types of workshops this year.

Spring of 2025 is going to include a lot of additions. We're planning on adding many more types of berries like raspberries, saskatoons, strawberries and more. Plus hopefully the creation of a space for fruit trees like apples & pears.

We also look forward to having more events on our farm. We are participating in Alberta Open Farm Days for the first time on August 16th & 17th where we will welcome to public to come for tours, learn about our day camps & workshops, and explore some of our trails. We will have lots of veggies, flowers & other products for sale at that time too.

Every September since 2022, we have invited the local community for a "Get To Know You" gathering on our property to celebrate the anniversary of when we moved here. Each year it has grown and we thoroughly enjoy getting to know our neighbours and community members.

We have a popular 100 Acre Scavenger Hunt, tractor-pulled hay ride tours, music and a big ol' hotdog roast, complete with community-contributed potluck. It is definitely one of the highlights of our year. So we decided it was time to have the community here MORE!! Becky ran a few "trial" workshops in the fall and this Spring we will be preparing the property to host MANY day camps for kids, moms & tots and adults!
